In 2011, thousands will flock to the Port of Galveston to board those massive cruise ships headed for the sunny waters of the Caribbean. Royal Caribbean, however, is known to be a bit more classy and a bit more luxurious than Carnival. Don’t get me wrong, that doesn’t mean its stuffy. Royal Caribbean is extremely fun and offers more than you can fit into any cruise vacation. The two main ships that depart from Galveston, TX are the Voyager of the Seas and the Mariner of the Seas. Both are considered a Voyager Class, similar in design, and are rated highly by the critics. All these places are warm year round so that you can escape those cold days in the US. If just laying on the beach or shopping for sales at these ports are not enough you, can always choose from a variety of shore excursions that accommodate any budget.

Now that is just a starting price and I am sure you could find better. Last year, cruise ships had trouble filling their cabins due to the economy, this year expects the same.
